Citrica achieve a World First!
September 2010
Citrica has become the first company to ever be certified with PAS 2060, which is the only Carbon Neutral Standard to be approved by the BSI, (British Standards Institution). A very prestigious accomplishment.
It once again proves Citrica is completely transparent with reporting and reducing our carbon emissions and is verified by an approved third party organisation - Carbon Clear.
This status allows Citrica to publicly state that the organisation is carbon clear or carbon neutral and is allowed to use Carbon Clears brand in its marketing material. Carbon reduction also has an additional advantage to any business in generally reducing the cost of providing its service, complying with likely changes to legislation and improving the integrity of its brand.

We are now a Sunday Times Best Green Company in 2010, an award measuring the top 60 greenest companies in 2010.

The Green500 is the premier carbon mentoring service for large organizations based in London. Supported by the Mayor of London, the scheme aims to reduce CO2 emissions by 1.5 million tonnes by April 2010 - the equivalent to a saving of around £150 million in energy bills. The scheme provides members with practical advice and support to reduce their carbon emissions and recognises and rewards members' commitment to excellence in carbon reduction through an annual awards ceremony hosted by the Mayor of London.
